Kimmy Gerred
http://spacematteruniverse.weebly.com/ This is Dr. Han's wonderful website and book that he loved and worked so hard on the year he passed. He called many of the local hotels to see about having his book placed in the rooms or the lobby for the guests here in Palm Springs where he made his home for over a decade.
Kimmy Gerred
My sister paid for the gas and I was able to drive up to San Bernadino and pick up his ashes, and I arranged his FULL HONORS military service at Riverside Memorial Cemetery. My sister also paid for the gas for me to pick up yet, another mutual friend of ours Mrs. Hildegarde Archuleta whom I met after his passing and I drove her to Dr. Han's funeral services too. Kimmy Gerred
Honorable Memory of Professor Hans J. Petermann
Honoring the Memory of Dr. Hans J. Petermann February Second, Nineteen Forty-Two 02/02/1942 through August Third, Two Thousand Sixteen 08/03/2016
My name is Kimmy Gerred. I met Dr. Hans in October 2010 when he was walking home from the post office as he did almost every single day of the week. Many times after that we would meet at the post office and I would give him a ride home.
He has been my guest for Thanksgiving, Christmas and other important holidays or events through out the year ever since with the exception of the one year I moved to San Diego County. I would also pick him up and take him to visit our mutual friends Annette Salvesen and Charles Sachs.
Or sometimes I would bring him to swim over here at my place or over at Charles pool which was the last place we saw Dr. Hans before I dropped him off at his place. I published two books for him in February of 2016 so it was kind of like a belated birthday present for him. Dr. Hans J. Petermann was born on February 2nd, 1942 in Austria. He was a life long learner and he was reading some professors books when he died.
He was the most intelligent man I've ever known and many have said the same thing of him. He was a published author of several books including "Gravity,Matter & Space Travel" and "The Esoteric Sciences Vol. 1".
He was working hard on writing a few more books too. His newest books were published in February 2016 in two formats one coffee table edition "God's Works In The Universe" and a travel edition "God's Works In Mysterious Ways".
I have another one of his completed books under my bed that I haven't got around to publishing. The only problem is that we never discussed a title yet. Thankfully he said it won't need as much editing as the other two I published for him.He was a huge believer in education and in reading.
Some looked at Dr. Hans as an international intelligence because he had close contacts with international intelligence and always kept up with all the international events, news and issues.
He had friends all over the world including his friend Jochen who was a German National but has a part time home here in the Desert. And his professor from Austria was still alive and they spoke on the phone.
He always got the international newspapers and news updates for Europe. He had dreams of living on the French Riviera and Europe was at the very heart of Dr. Hans!
He believed in justice and righteousness and he didn't like what he saw was happening here in America with all the infiltration of other countries that he felt did not have America's best interest in mind.
And Dr. Hans held the same political interests of Conservatism on every issue. Professor Hans Petermann had a masters degree in language and continued his education to become a doctor of Physics.
He went into the military branch of the Army in 1964 where he was stationed in Germany for three years as a helicopter repairman and translator. He often frequented the American Legion in Palm Springs and would stay there for hours with his military friends.
He is sure missed by a few people who were very close to him and spoke with him on a daily basis. He had several close friends here in Palm Springs most of which were female.
I guess that was because intelligence is sexy and he was certainly that! He did have one male friend who also drove him around to the food banks when he would go.
Writing this paper and letting go of Dr. Hans is not easy. Hopefully, I will spend Thanksgiving with some other nice company because I don't imagine it will ever the same again with out Dr. Hans.
He loved my turkey and dressing but always told me what a wonderful cook his precious mother was. His mother was the star of his show even long after she had been gone. He loved her cooking and spoke of her kindness and brilliance to all of his friends.
He always brought joy and happiness everywhere he went. His Postman at the local Post Office knew that Dr. Hans didn't like to get his receipts back after he would buy a book of postage he would just tell the postman that he didn't want his receipts.
One of the greatest compliments that I've ever had in my life came through the grapevine to me through another mutual female friend. I was shocked when she told me only weeks before he died how much he thought of me and had tremendous respect for me. That was absolutely the greatest compliment that I've ever received in my life!
We all felt grateful to have him in our lives. He took life like a cake walk and had humorous stories that he dreamt of writing in a love fantasy book about his many girlfriends all over the world.
Dr. Hans is survived by his brother and daughters.
