What's Brison's most important value or trait?

Vicki Prater
His kindness and willingness to still find the "kid" in himself when he is with his boys.
Vicki Prater
Brison, his brother and myself have experienced so much in our lives. One thing that was important between the 3 of us was saying "I love you". It was not just the words but the meaning behind it. To this day, when he says the words I get chills. It takes me back when he was little boy, he would put his little arms around my neck and in a little boy voice he would say "I love you to mommy". His boys now do the same thing.

What's your favorite story about [Brison]?

Vicki Prater
When Brison became a dad it changed him totally. He was scared, excited, a bundle of emotions. I remember him saying to me, "Mom, I never thought I could love someone I just met, as much as I love Quinn." Tears were streaming down his face. He was so proud of his first born. A few years later he experienced fatherhood once again with the birth of Ross. Watching he and Ginger raise their boys has been a joy for me. They have mentored their children teaching them life lessons on being respectful, responsible young men. As parents they want them to grow up and become honest, faithful, hard working individuals.
Vicki Prater
My brother, Ross and me like it when Grandma tells us stories about dad when he was little. He wasn't always good. And then Dad tells us about things that Grandma never knew about.

How do you feel about discipline in your home?

Vicki Prater
Well, dad wants us to be good, we understand. We don't like it when we get in trouble, but it's not ok if we don't listen. Dad wants us to show respect. If we get in trouble he will talk to us and then ask us how we should have handled the situation differently. It makes for a long day if we get our iPods ,phones, or PlayStation taken away. So we try to be good.
