LifeStory

Levi Taylor

By Jewel Jellison

Levi Roosevelt Taylor, 27, of Lolo, MT passed away on Sunday August 7th, 2016. He was born March 1st, 1988 to Mary and Jim Taylor becoming the 4th child to complete their family.  As a child he grew up in Florence and Lolo, Mt where he made many friends and continues to graduate from Big Sky High School in 2006. From an early age he discovered his love for cars, motorcycle’s, snowmobiles, anything with horse power or anything that he could ride a wheelie on, (where is your helmet?), wreck or “Slap some 24’s on it!” If you were to see Levi, it was usually driving down the street wanting to race you or a friendly wave of his “deuces” out the window to let you know he saw you.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, teaching his daughter to be a rider as well as his nephew, Tristan.  He loved music, fishing, mountains and everything about the outdoors. Levi’s personality and laugh were contagious. He was the original jokester and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face.

On November 27th, 2009 the light to his eyes was born to him and Rachel Messerschmidt.  From that moment on “Wee-bye” was determined to make her a jokester and a spitting image of him, which she continues to be to this day. Levi and Rachel shared many laughs together but went on to discover more in life.

On Nov. 1, 2015 he married the love of his life Stevie Taylor. The couple started a business together and resided in Lolo. Stevie and Levi could make cheeks and stomach hurt when they were together. They loved every moment together and made many memories together in the short time they were married.

Survivors include: Stevie Lee Taylor (wife); Halle Taylor (daughter)and Rachel Messerschmit; his parents, James and Mary Taylor; Shawn (brother) and Jessica Pate with their children Kaelin and Riley; Jory Oliver( brother) with his children Angelynn and Jory II; Jewel Marie Jellison (Sister) her son Tristan; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; lifelong friends: Jason Hawthorne, Trevor Erickson and Robert Graff and many more friends who were family to Levi.

Levi touched the lives of everyone around him. Please join us as we prepare to throw up our final "deuces" for him. A Service will be this Monday August 15, @ 2:00 at Garden City Funeral Home.
