On August 31st, 1978 Brison Frederick Allmon was born. His birth took place at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine Ohio. Naming you came easy. Brison was the name of a band member that played at a dance at my high school. I just liked the name and knew that if I ever had a son, that would be his name. Your middle name is your Dad's middle name, and my maiden name. How ironic is that!
My dream was always to be a mother, and there you were. My very own baby. You cried, you smiled, you ate, you held tightly onto my finger, and then you cried for 6 months. I sat in a rocking chair for it seemed like forever trying to get you through the colic. Now that my dream came true I had no idea what to do.After many tears we got to know each other better, I understood your crys and we gave each other a chance. I'm happy to say we were very close during those years. You were smart and everything you did made me laugh! My dad would get so mad at me about laughing at you. He was certain I was spoiling you and you weren't going to listen as you got older. Well, maybe some of that came true,but I'm happy to report that I didn't do to bad of a job raising you. I wish my Dad could have seen you all grown up and with your own family. I came to know what true love is because of you. For that , I thank you. Seeing you come full circle and raising your own family fills my heart with pride. I know that with Ginger by your side your family will be loved, respected, and responsible. I will always love you to the moon and back.
