On the 28th day of August, 2016, Michael, aged 53 years, broke free from the pain of cancer. He passed in peace and comfort, visited and supported by immediate family, and cared for by the compassionate women and men at the Sarasota Memorial Institute for Cancer Care and Tidewell Hospice House of Sarasota.
