Louie
What do you love about your mutt?
Louie shows me every day what it means to be brave and kind. As a young dog, he was badly abused. His collar grown had into his neck when the local animal control found him wandering the streets with a crewed-through rope around his neck. A rescue saved him only hours before the city shelter planned to put him down. With surgery, medication, love and kindness he became the happy and loving guy he is today. His ability to forget and forgive and to live each day to the fullest is inspiration for me to do the same. I am so grateful that he is a part of my life.
