We adopted Leo from a shelter at 4 months old. He is a goofy, bouncy, fiercely loyal Boxer/Rat Terrier mix. We found out his breed through DNA results after being told he was a pit/lab mix. Leo has been a joy since day one. He will endure discomfort to be as close as possible to his hoomans. Not a day goes by that Leo doesn't make us smile. He is impressively intuitive and will support the hooman that needs him the most at the time. Leo secures his perimeter, keeping his hoomans safe, bravely defending against critters of all kinds, including bees, birds, snakes, squirrels, chipmunks, toads, butterflies, houseflies, ants, deer, bears.....etc. He has mastered opening the sliding doors, but not closing them. He even lets his friend Mugsy in, when Mugsy comes over to eat Leo's food. He reminds us that life is good, and simple pleasures abound. Our life would be less rich without him.
