    Marriage to Doris

    Spokane, Washington
Noel and Doris met in 1999 in a Christian chatroom. Their first conversation was about God, and they corresponded for several months about their mutual love, Jesus Christ, which very quickly developed into a deep love and respect for each other.

Doris lived in Texas and Noel in Spokane, so being together seemed like an impossibility. However, the divine intervened, and everything came together only three months after they met. They were joined together as husband and wife in the Lord on the last day of the millennium, and were married for 16 years.

Doris had two young sons, Joseph and Matthew Neaves 12 and 9. Noel embraced them as his own, accepting the challenge of raising two young boys with prayerful determination. They have now grown into loving and kind Christian men, 29 and 27, and they credit Noel’s influence an important factor in their development.

    Daughter Mary Elizabeth born

    Spokane, Washington
Mary Elizabeth was a blessed surprise to her older parents. Doris was 41 and Noel 58 years old when she came into the world. Noel was soon retired and enjoyed spending lots of time watching her grow into a lovely young lady. They shared a love of singing and swimming for 15 years. Mary loved to give “ shows” either dancing or jumping on her trampoline, and Noel patiently sat and applauded every performance. Mary is in the 10th grade and has sang in her school choir since 5th grade. She shares her father’s love and compassion for hurting people, and plans to be both a teacher and a psychotherapist when she grows up.
