A pet store visit triggers powerful emotions
Maggie, who had pronounced herself opposed to adopting another cat, because no cat could measure up to Mao, visits Petsmart for dogfood, walks by the cats, sees a little kitten holding up a paw to say hello. A sign! She immediately messages her husband, children and exchange student with a photo and short video, asking if they wanted to adopt the cat. Shockingly, the family says yes.
