April 7, 2016--My elegant, smart, stylish, fabulous mother died this morning. We were blessed with her love and devotion. Born Edna Mae Wander, her spirit will infuse us and inspire us forever. Please hold her name in the light: Edna Ghertler, 1926-2016, a Brooklyn-born Manhattanite through and through. Loved by many.
