David Perlmutter
From Otto Krichman: And Uncle Milton gave me my first watch with hands. It had Donald Duck and he began teaching me to tell time. Of course this was after a trip to Boston and a trip to Linn.

I met David just a year an a half after Milton's death. We met on a broiling early September (i think) day in 1980, on the stairs, moving in to our Freshman dorm. It took no time for Dave and I to become fast friends. But it took time for Dave to share with me how recently he had lost his Dad. The first time I saw a picture of Milton I was SHOCKED to see what looked like, to me, the spitting image of the (then) 18year old David. His warmth, intellect, and genuine capacity for love and emotion was clearly passed on. Was a joy to meet Harriet and your siblings and grandma and cousins and all the rest! Love you all!!

Susan Widerman Blog: Yes we remember Uncle Milton on the day he passed - I was 22 working in Manhasset when I got that fateful call. Can't believe it is 38 years.
