First of all, what a wonderful tribute this is to your life, your passion, and who you are as a person.
Good friends - the friends that make you feel good, the friends that make you laugh, the friends that are there for you when you're at your lowest - that's the kind of friend you've been to me for 4 years. A 'good friend' is an understatement.
I've had the pleasure of not only knowing and spending time with you but also living with you. You challenge me, you help me grow, and you make me a better person. I truly, truly admire you, Joe. You are a role model in my life. The way you carry yourself and go about your life is something I aspire to.
Whatever you end up doing in your life, wherever you end up living, whoever you end up near... you will have a positive effect on that something, in that place, on those people.
I love you, Joe. You are and will always be one of the best people in my life.
Your friend always,
Adam

I am a little late on my submission since clutter hid my invitation in my email (thank you Amy!) but Joe, I just want say that it has been an absolute joy to experience college with you! These past 4 years flew by so fast but there is no doubt in my mind that we will still stay connected!! <3 You are honestly the hardest working person I have ever met. Ever since freshman year you were working so hard on future job prospects and student orgs. My favorite memory of us is visiting you in DC last summer! I cannot wait to see where life takes us kiddo and what shenanigans we will encounter with the crew! LOVE YOU ALWAYS and On Wisconsin!

I really just wanted to say how unbelievably proud I am of you. I have looked up to you and watched you grow for my entire life and I am very excited by the man you have become.
I know we have had ups and downs in our relationship but you will always be my very first friend and older brother. I'm glad that we are at a high point in our relationship right now which I believe will continue for years to come. I love you very much. Congrats!

Congratulations, Joe, on your great accomplishments -- getting through the University of Wisconsin, while at the same time managing to be an amazing political operator. You have demonstrated your skills not only in political communications but also in inspiring your fellow students and so many others so that you were elected to be Communications Director of the College Democrats of Wisconsin and then Communications Director of the College Democrats of the whole United States! Being an intern at the Democratic National Committee wasn’t chopped liver either (an old grandparents saying) . We were so impressed with how you maintained your dignity and common sense through all the complicated situations you faced.
.We remember when you were younger how you taught yourself all about graphics and that digital stuff that your grandparents try to understand. You were so right to want to be at the kind of school where you would have an opportunity to meet people with similar interests who would appreciate your talents as well what a wonderful person you are. You have made so many friends there, some of whom you will surely keep up with through the years.
As you finish college, there is a time for adjustment until you find a situation that you really want, and where you will be fully appreciated. With your many talents, intelligence and wonderful personality we know that you will go on to even greater accomplishments in the future. We are so proud of you and love you so much.
