Rebecca Ann (Hill) Nelson, 60, of Cypress, TX, wife of Gene Nelson, died October 10th, 2016, surrounded by her husband and children. She was born in Birmingham, AL on August 23, 1956, daughter of the late Edward Hill and Lorraine (Richey) Hill of Adamsville, AL. Rebecca was a loyal and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her generosity and thoughtfulness towards others, as well as her devotion and love for her family, friends, pets, and her Lord are a tribute to the compassion of her heart and soul. Her loving presence and dedication to family and friends will be missed by all.

Survived by her loving husband Gene of 22 years, she is preceded in death by her beloved brother Tim and also survived by her brother Tom and wife Marcy of Hoover, AL. A devoted mother of 5, Rebecca is survived by her children, Jeff Nelson and wife Molly of Spanish Fort, AL; Emily Turner of Cypress, TX; Clayton Turner of Chicago, IL; Brett Nelson and wife Mason of San Francisco, CA; and Sarah Tielke and husband Keith of Sugar Land, TX. An adored grandmother of 4, Rebecca is survived by Lola Tielke, Maddie Grace Nelson, Owen Tielke, and Allie Nelson.

A Memorial Service for Rebecca will be held at the Church at Cross Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th. An additional service for her extended family and friends will be held in Alabama at Adamsville Baptist Church in 2017.
