David Gabriel Rabinowitz, 68, died October 13, 2016, in Mumbai, India of heart complications from pneumonia. David was a resident of Washington, DC. David was born on May 19, 1948 in Tel Aviv, Israel to parents Leo and Chava Rabinowitz. David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Celeste Naomi Ginsburg Rabinowitz and his four children: Ahraon, Leil, Richard and Daniella.

David Gabriel Rabinowitz, 68, died October 13, 2016, in Mumbai, India of heart complications from pneumonia. David was a resident of Washington, DC. David was born on May 19, 1948 in Tel Aviv, Israel to parents Leo and Chava Rabinowitz. David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Celeste Naomi Ginsburg Rabinowitz, of Johannesburg, South Africa; Four children: Ahraon David Rabinowitz and his wife, Rachel Eliana Schoenfeld Rabinowitz of New York, NY, Leil Naomi Rabinowitz Bowen and her husband, Joshua Scott Bowen of Kissimmee, FL, Richard Samuel Rabinowitz and his wife, Susan Bethany Macintosh Rabinowitz, of Highland Lake, NY, and Daniella Miriam Rabinowitz Lowe and her husband, Charles Leonard Lowe, of White Hall, MD. David is also survived by his sister, Batya Reiser, of Dunedin, New Zealand. David is also survived by his grandchildren: Max Rabinowitz, Rebecca Rabinowitz, Lucas Bowen, Amanda Bowen, Kelly Bowen, Jacob Rabinowitz, Jason Rabinowitz, William Rabinowitz, Alissa Rabinowitz, Charles L Lowe, Jr., Sarah Lowe, and Cassidy Lowe. David Served in the Israeli Defense force from 1966 - 1986 with the 401st Brigade 298th Communications Company. David graduated from Jerusalem College of Engineering in 1976 with a BS, Civil Engineering. After his service with the IDF, David and Celeste moved to the United States in November of 1986. David became a Citizen of the United States in 1988 and worked as a consultant In New York and Washington DC for 20 years. In 2008 David and Celeste moved to Mumbai, India where he formed Aeonix Systems Consortium which specializes in call centers. A private memorial service for the family was held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 on Hobie Beach in Port Elizabeth, South Africa at the place where David and Celeste were married. The Rabinowitz family has asked that anyone wishing to pay respects to David, to please make donations in his name to the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
