CommentsThis is a photo of my great-grandfather. I never knew him, but I am proud of his service to the USMC even though he sustained an injury and did not get to serve his full time. He went into education and taught, then became a principal, and then a superintendent. His father Samuel Krise, he, his son Warren Samuel Padget/Paget Krise, his granddaughter Elizabeth Krise Hott, and his great-granddaughter Sylvia Hott Sonneborn (the writer of this bio) all became school teachers over 5 generations. We are proud of William's desire to serve his country.
