I would like to thank my husband, Eric J. Medei, for his service in our United States Navy. Eric served from 1995 to 1999 on board the USS Arthur W. Radford, DD 968...where we met. Eric is a third generation Navy Veteran, following in his dad Craig Medei and both his Grandfather's, Derengo (Tony) Medei and Fritz Halfacre, footsteps. Eric was critical in saving the ship from sinking when in was hit by a Saudi Arabian tanker off the coast of Virginia in 1999. Eric was an advanced shipboard firefighter who received a Navy Achievement metal for bravery as a result of his actions. Thank you for your service babe!
