Georgette Simon Burns

Born in Paris, Simon was a soprano who performed opera and operetta throughout France and in London. Some of her recordings on Columbia and Pathe Disques are included on the 2 CD set "Hommage à André Messager." She bestowed the Cross of the Commander of the Legion of Honor to Franz Lehar. After a memorial ceremony at Westwood Village Mortuary, she was interred at Valhalla Memorial Park.
