Ronne Roope (‘Romantic Ron’), was a dancer, musician, director, administrator, High School principal, English professor, founder of Tours of Jerome, historian for the town of Jerome, Arizona while acting as the Archivist for the Jerome Historical Society. He lived over 30 years in both Sedona and Cottonwood, having moved there from Redondo Beach, California. We celebrate his life here.

During the 1980's and 90's Ron became a Toastmaster. Not just a participant, but a competitor. He managed to take first place many times in several Toastmaster events. (See photos below).
