My momma endured last last 4 years with Hep C, that being silent and untreated for many years led to cirrohis of the liver. They cured the Hep C but her liver and kidneys were damaged and weak. The last year my mom had a sense of not feeling well. On Nov.3, 2016 We took mom into the hospital where she stayed for 9 days during which time she never got any better. She was then transferred to a transplant hospital in Indianapolis. This is where they found out that mom had kailing kidneys and liver cancer. She would need both a liver and double kidney transplant and even that was a long shot. Mom along with her children and liver team we decided to bring our momma home. Our mom fought a long hard fight to get healthy and stay healthy but in the end it was just too much for her body and herself.
