At Cold Spring Lake in New Jersey in the early 1960s, holding me above the water, and then swishing me around in the water.

Talking with him about the Catholic Church and its history.

Slightly bawdy jokes, Tim Conway, Carol Burnett, and the rest of the cast.

If you could send John a message now, what would you say?

Dad, you were my hero, my Roman soldier, and thank you for teaching me about stones, rocks, and gems. I'm still crazy about them!

How would John most want to be remembered?

As the husband of an amazing woman, the love of his life, Rita Murphy, and as a WWII Veteran.
