Tresea Slone
Glenna Faye Slone Furman, 60, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Home.
Born September 27, 1956 in Trenton, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis Thacker Slone and Ronald Slone. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Guy Furman and nephew Damon Christopher Jackson.
Faye Faye loved to cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She also loved to watch food and cooking channels. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching football and baseball. Some of her favorite past times are playing card games, puzzles, and backgammon. She also loved BINGO.
Glenna is survived by two sons Glenn Allen Furman of Boston, MA, and Roger Furman Jr and wife Lori of Taylor, MI. One daughter, Lorraine Len and husband Mark of Brownstown, MI. A sister, Tresea Slone of Ormond Beach, FL and a brother, Ronald Slone Jr and wife Stephanie of Palm Coast, FL. She also left behind five grandchildren, Jonathan Len, Spencer Furman, Katie Len, Mitchell Furman, Lauren Len and one great granddaughter, Julie Len. She is also survived by three nieces, Jennifer Jackson and husband Christopher of Ormond Beach, FL, Tamara Withers and husband Jarron of Roslindale, MA, and Kira Slone of Palm Coast, FL. Two nephews, Aaron Slone of Athens, TN, and Stephen Slone of Jacksonville, FL.
Two great Nephews Giovanni and Jadyn
A remembrance of Life Service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at Cardwell, Baggett and Summers Funeral Home in Daytona Beach, FL. There will be a prayer service at 2:30 to begin the visitation for those who wish to pay their final respects. A Beach memorial to follow immediately after internment.
