Since You Been Gone our  lives are not the same

But somehow we've managed, to carry on your name

Many times we've  picked up the phone

Often forgetting you're in your heavenly home

We thank you for your unconditional love

God kept us close,  and tight as a glove

 Many times you open your home to others

 and they too became our sisters and brothers. 

Holidays are hard without you 

Now, we're forced to think about, a thing or two. 

We know your spirit is still here

 And with Seeking God, there's no fear

You always taught us to love one another.

 Because in this life, it would only be one mother. 

So many times the devil thought he had you. 

But, God had a plan, that no one knew.

 Losing you crushed us all

But,  God, faith, and courage, substained our fall. 

Your Love is stored within our hearts

 and we would cherish it, as we depart

If we had just one more thing to say. 

Mother we promised to stick together, and pray. 

This is our mother's story and she will forever be missed .
