Paul leaves memories of simplicity, modesty, warmth, and great courage. To his three children and wife he was a generous grandfather, loving husband, and inspiring musician, engineer, and craftsman. In retirement he contributed to his community especially through his church and orchestra. "You know how important music is, don't you?" –Paul's sons, brothers, and their families
