Painting and inspiration
My Grandmother's paintings are tangible items that express who she was. Travel, painting, family and a tight knit group of friends become an important component to the Grandmother that I knew and loved. I find strength in the women in my life. My Grandmother, my Mother and the women who came before them. They provide direction through the navigation of their experiences and how those experiences led to me. -
Grandmother passes
Roswell, Georgia
She always loved a house amidst the trees. I'll be forever grateful to her for her sharing her love of nature and the most precious family heirloom that I inherited, a part of her DNA. Imprinted on future generations: her appreciation of the world around us, healthy eating and living, quiet fortitude and her sense of adventure and travel allow us all to reach back to family, objects, history and the paths of those before us to find our own path in the world.Shannon Uschold
She left us the most precious of family heirlooms, her DNA. Healthy living and eating through generations.Shannon Uschold
My Grandmother painted this portrait of my Mother after she married my Dad. When I need strength, I often shift to the women in my life. My Grandmother, my Mother and the women who came before them.
