I tried to hang myself with a sheet when i was in 10th grade because I was being beaten at school every day. I am a 38 year old mother of 2 now. My daughter is graduating next week and my son is starting high school this fall. I have a successful career in truck parts. I decided that my failed attempt was a sign, but still struggled with thoughts until I was 21. I had survived a rape and a heart attack by then.

I still stuggle with confidence and PTSD triggers, but therapy and an awesome support system keep me going. I'm very blessed. I try to be there for others like me. It helps knowing I'm not alone.
