I lost my husband to suicide in September 2011. It was something I never in my life expected to happen. My husband was not only the strongest person I knew but he was the most selfless as well. He was a man who loved his family deeply and wanted to do right by us. We love and miss him beyond measure and would give anything to have him back.

My hope is that we can break the cycle of judgement on those who take their lives. No one knows what that person is going through nor do we have to explain it. Empathy and respect is what we should show to those who have been lost to suicide as well as the survivors.
