My favorite memory of my mom is how she never grew up (still hasn't!). Has always preferred hanging out with the kids and teenagers rather than the boring, too-serious adults (even if she was one). As the wife of a pastor-NOT a Pastor's Wife-Very clear distinction there, she would always be arranging activities to do with the kids in the church, group games to play at special events, breaking out a deck of cards when hanging with the teens and somehow though it was always geared towards the younger folk, those boring, too-serious adults would join in the fun and have a great time! Of course, there would always be laughter, usually coming from her! To this day, the things I like doing best with my mom are playing games and doing activities with her, and of course my kids, her grandkids!
