Homer Charles Buzard was born in Clarion , Pennsylvania on July 20,th 1939 to Joseph Arthur and Nelli Arnetta Buzard. He quit school and started working at the age of eight he worked in the mines with his father to help support his 13 siblings. in 1960 Charles met Carol Lee VanOrden in New York State they married in February 25th,.1962 .
