I didn't know Sal well - only met her a few times through our mutual friend Sally Charnow - but was always so moved by the quality of her presence, a rare depth of integration between head heart and soul that was always palpable in her presence as well as in what she brought to the conversation. May her memory be a blessing to you, Beck, and to all whose lives she touched.

Dear Beck, just like Sal to leave us on an especially powerful day, March 3rd. Love from all of us, your occasional distant dog-sitters, friends and admirers. PJ and Family

On this oh so special day, the 25th anniversary of Beck and Sal's first meeting, and the fifth anniversary of their marriage, I am reminded of how much they have surrounded all of US by their love... And what a gift that will always be!

Dearest Becky...
Since hearing that Sally has made her transition, you have been in my prayers. I send my deepest condolences to you and the family. She had a huge heart. Also an amazing writer, I so enjoyed reading her beautiful emails after she left City Harvest. True story: After attending her 60th birthday party I haven't been able to hear Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars without thinking about her. I think she had the DJ play that tune several times that night :-) We had such a good time! She was an inspiration and will never be forgotten.

Sending love and light,

Aliyah

Becky.... upon hearing about Sally's transition, you have been in my prayers. I send my deepest condolences to you and the family. Sally had a huge heart and in the time we worked together at City Harvest I always admired her spirit. She was also a wonderful writer and I so enjoyed reading the emails she sent after leaving. Her light, so bright and that smile was irresistible... she will never be forgotten.

Sending Love and Light,

Aliyah
