Ward, James Shaeffer, 91, of Short Hills, NJ, died Friday, April 6. Born in Orange, NJ and raised in Montclair, NJ, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and received BS and MBA degrees from New York University. He worked at various firms on Wall Street, ending his career with his own firm, Ward & Wissner Capital Management. He was an active volunteer for several organizations including Planned Parenthood, the Cora Hartshorne Arboretum, Short Hills, where he served as Treasurer, and the Planning Board for Millburn Township, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Marjory, three children, Meredith, Stuart, and Nicholas, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Fordham Ward.
