Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother


 


Marilyn June Litvack, (nee Shriver), 91, of New Providence, NJ, passed peacefully on April 30, 2018. She lived a very active and full life. Marilyn was a National Accredited Master Flower Show Judge, Designer and Teacher. She lectured extensively, studied floral design at the Sogetsu School in Tokyo, Japan, and in England. Marilyn was President of the Garden Club of NJ from 1983-1985, Membership Chairman for the National Council of State Garden Clubs, President of the Creative Flower Arrangers of the America’s and originated the Flower Arranging Guild of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Murray Hill. She was also a member of the Woman’s Club of New Providence. Marilyn received an Associate’s Degree from Berkeley College and was named Woman of the Year from the college in 1983. She worked at the Newark College of Engineering. Marilyn also worked with her husband at Action Lift Trucks in Newark, NJ. Marilyn is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Sidney Litvack. She is survived by her loving children, son, Dr. Steven & Nina Litvack, her daughter, Cindy & Werner Mayer, grandchildren, Christopher & Cara Litvack, Nicole & Jason Bradfield, Marilyn & Christopher Bailey, and her great-grandchildren, Angelina & Lillianna, also survived by her sister, Allene Thiele. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 12 pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 419 South St. New Providence, NJ. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ. May she rest in peace.
