Margaret Lomker, 83, of Florham Park passed away on May 11, 2018. Visiting hours will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham on Sunday, May 13th from 2 to 6 pm. Interment is private.

 Born and raised in Newark, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Bernauer) Trautmann, Margaret was a graduate of Weequahic High School. She lived in Livingston and Cedar Grove before moving to Florham Park in 1968. In her younger years, Margaret worked at Prudential Insurance before leaving to raise her family. She was a longtime member of the Deutscher Club of Clark and a former member of Bayern Verein Newark (BVN). Margaret enjoyed walking, dancing, German music, the NY Mets, her Sherbrooke family and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered as a great mom, caring neighbor, good friend and loving Oma.  

 Margaret was the beloved wife of the late James W. Lomker. She was the loving mother of Jim Lomker, Jr. and his wife Susan, Suzanne “Suzi” Lomker, and Gretchen Dannic and her husband, Jim. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Emma and Grace Lomker and her dear sister Marie Matthies as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Ave., Madison, NJ 07940.
