Janice L. Harding (Bucuk), 68, of Springfield, NJ, passed away on May 29, 2018. Memorial visiting hours will be held at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield on Saturday, June 9^th from 11:30 to 12:30pm. There will be a prayer service at 12:30pm following the visitation.

Born in Montclair, the daughter of John and Mary Caroline (Vitcusky) Bucuk, Janice was raised in Bloomfield. She attended East Orange Catholic High School for 3 years prior to graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1968. Janice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from William Paterson College in 1972. She was a manager at AT&T for 25 years until her retirement in 1996.

Janice was the beloved wife of 47 years to Thomas Harding. She is also survived by her sister Carol Kukola and her husband Donald as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice’s memory may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Avenue, Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, N.J. 07927 or the Overlook Hospital Foundation, 36 Upper Overlook Road, Summit 07902.
