Our love & prayers to George's family & friends.
George (a young man from the East Coast) & me, Ken (a young man from the Midwest) became friends in 1955 at Ft. Monmouth Photo School, went to & from Korea together by troopship for 16 days both ways (yes.... with many trips with the "heaves" to topside), stationed near each other in Korea & therefore saw each other often. During our troopship time when we had settled stomachs we talked about our respective religion: Melkite & Presbyterian.
We treasure the time being visitors in Bettie's & George's home and attending St. Ann Melkite Church. We also had the pleasure of visiting George at Cedar Crest. Loosing this ongoing Friendship is very difficult for us but retaining the memories of our 60+ years as Friends is the good news!
Respectively, Ken & Lynn Copp in Danville, Kentucky
