Barbara sparkled. Those beautiful eyes! That gorgeous smile! That laugh that always seemed to be bubbling up in her throat. While she had a lilting singing voice, her presence on stage and in life was electric. She was real. Although she was younger than I, we were both Seton Hall lifers and worked and played together during the early days of the Celtic Theatre Company. She was a loyal friend to many, a wonderful daughter and a gifted teacher, but the role she was born to play was wife and mother. My heart goes out to Mike and Michael and all whose lives were touched by this amazing woman.
