I’m so sad to learn so late of Paul’s passing. Rosie, although I don’t know you I want to thank you for putting this online as a tribute to Paul! Paul was such a good honest guy! He was so patriotic displaying flags on his car and loved our Country and his family and friends. I was in Pennsylvania this past August where he came to a clambake at my mother and stepfathers house. He came armed with pictures - Pictures of his son on Santas lap, pictures of his parents store, his sister and so on. Each of these pictures had a story that didn’t miss a beat. Then somehow we got on to foreign language and he was telling us German phrases. Every Christmas he sent a beautiful card to my family with his signature giant script, always signed. “ “A Friend Paul”. Two years ago he gave me a signed copy of his sons book which I proudly display more for the fact of how proud he was of his son and his successes. It’s so sad to me that we all didn’t have a chance to celebrate his life and passing properly. Paul was a character and a kind soul. My wish is that all his loved one do something special to celebrate him and how fortunate we were to have had him in our lives, whether it be plant a tree in his memory or go out and have special dinner, or just having cold beer and toast Paul. There’s no doubt Paul earned his wings and will rest easy.
