We were so fortunate to have met Joe and Ann when we moved to Springfield over 60 years ago. We all enjoyed each summer at the Springfield Township pool with Joe, Ann and all our kids. Joe loved parties and always invited his friends to his house for dinners and cocktails. New Years Eve Joe would choose the restaurant and we all attended. One memory we will always remember with a smile - one winter Joe invited us to drive to West Liberty, W.V. To visit Joe, Jr. at his Home coming football game at college. Unfortunately Joes car broke down enroute and we got a motel. We were fortunate and counted our blessings. The bad news there was only one motel room - NO heat - and we all slept with all our clothes on. We thought we would freeze to death -- but we didn't . We attended the football game. The good news we were all in this together. Joe enjoyed life and his family and friends. We were blessed to have been part of his life. We have such beautiful memories and will keep him in our hearts and prayers.
