We were lucky enough to play cards together. I remembered that I even taught her how to play. Of course we had beautiful music playing in the dorm. All of them were young, smart and gorgeous.
After we graduated, I met her once in Beijing when she was teaching German in a college. She's a nice, pure girl, very down to earth, not a typical girl found in the college of foreign languages. But she did have big dreams.
Life is never fair, sometime it is even cruel. It took away the most beautiful things to leave us a lasting memory. Some people live their lives like a candle in the wind. Qilu lives her life like a cherry blossom. It does not last long, but it is one of beautiful things we will never forget. Her son should be very proud to have such as a caring mom.
