What are your best memories of time together?

Ann Hardwick
I met Mrs. Midwinter in the late 1980's earl 1990's through her daughter, Nancy. I went to visit Nancy in New York and met this wonderful family, who took me in and made me feel at home. "Mom" invited me to stay at her house, spend Thanksgiving with her family and made me feel at home. She made me laugh and she never cease to amaze me. She was always smiling and had this twinkle in her eyes, like she was up to something.
Nancy, Mrs. Midwinter, my Aunt Jane and Uncle Bill and I went to Alaska on a cruise, just after my aunt was diagnosed with Alzheimer. Mrs. Midwinter had never met my aunt and uncle, but you would've thought they had been old friends. She and Nancy help Uncle Bill and I understand what was happening and that we should enjoy every moment we had with Aunt Jane. It was a wonderful trip that I will always remember.
I have so many funny, wonderful memories of her and her family to hold in my heart. I know heaven is much happier place since she arrived.
