My brother texted me this thought back on 12/30.
Reading it now, it’s still good insight.
“You know what I miss from Iowa? Picking up a friend and taking him to some guys house you dont know so he can pick up some weed and when you get there the guy is wearing a wife beater and Jean's with a chain wallet and you think fuck this guy but he greets you all excited and Then he's like "dude you like nunchuks!? I got these sweet ass nunchucks from a guy I know" "wanna try them!?" The whole time you just standing there thinking "this dude doesnt have much but he's fuckin happy" so you say "fuck yeah I wanna try those nunchucks!" And through something like nunchucks you feel a little bit happier because you know that maybe there are people so at peace with themselves so they're happy”

Grant and I met through a mutual friend 10 years ago. Ever since then, we have kept in touch. I will forever be greatful for his friendship! He was an amazing person and friend!

Though we only had a brief time to know each other, it was a privilege to share those profound conversations. Truly you are an old soul, Grant White. I hope we can meet again, on the Other side. You taught me a lot and I miss your kindness. Thanks for taking the time. Peace be with you always. ❤️
