Cecilia Kiernan, 86, of Union, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Cecilia was born on October 8, 1932 in Armenia, Colombia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luis and Ana (nee Montes) Arbelaez.

Cecilia loved gardening, traveling and indulging in sweets. She enjoyed going to church and was a devote catholic. She also liked going to the movies and knitting in her spare time.

Cecilia was the loving mother of Gloria Herrera and Humberto Sepulveda and Camilo Herrera and Nelly Restrepo. She was the cherished grandmother of Mauricio Herrera and Brenda Escobar, David Sepulveda and Perla, Pamela Campos and Michael, Andres Sepulveda and Mayely Fernandez, Alejandro Herrera and great-grandmother of Michael Campos, Jr., Annabell Herrera, Skylar Campos, Issais Herrera and Maurico Herrera, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19 2019, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1096 North Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. Cremation will be private.
