Tricia Travers

Tricia A. Travers, daughter of Alfred Travers and Margaret (Bibby) Travers, died peacefully on the morning of April 20, 2019 at the home of her devoted caregiver in Linden, New Jersey.  Born Patricia Ann Travers in Orange, NJ , Trish lived most of her life in West Orange and Maplewood, NJ.

Trish is survived by her husband Richard Meade, her three children, Beth Adubato, Scott Adubato, and Meghan Meade, her three grandchildren, Allegra Hoffmaster, Sean Adubato and Theodora LiPuma, as well as her sister Maureen Travers and her brother Jeffrey Travers and their spouses, her ex-husband Richard Adubato, and a large extended family of nephews, a niece and many, many loving friends.

Blessed with a radiant smile and a lovely singing voice, Trish was a long time member of the Montclair Operetta Club, one of several local venues where she performed.  She sang for many years in the choir of Our Lady of the Valley Church, dedicated much of her life to acting, singing and expressing herself through music, and was a passionate fan of musicals as both performer and audience member.    She had a keen eye for fashion and decor and an infectious zest for life.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Avenue  in Summit, NJ, and a Funeral Mass as St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills, NJ on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Trish’s memory.
