Marion H. Seely, of Whippany, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the age of 83.  Marion was born on September 21, 1935 to Edward and Lucille Zawistowski in Bloomfield, NJ, where she was raised.  She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School.

Marion had lived in Whippany for over 10 years.  She and her beloved husband Ernest also lived in both Clifton and Bloomfield, building new homes during their active years in his construction business !

Marion owned and ran Seely’s Restaurant in Bloomfield from 1978-85 and concluded her working career as a Realtor with Weichert, Realtors.  She had an avid interest in interior design, fashion and art and always made sure she was impeccably attired for every occasion.

She was the beloved wife to Ernest for over 64 years until his passing in January of this year; devoted mother of Thomas Seely and his wife Theresa of Whippany; cherished grandmother of Alexandra Seely and Michael Hunter and his wife Drionna; and great-grandmother of Grayson and Evelyn Hunter.

Relatives and friends will gather at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany on Tuesday, May 28th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service taking place during this time.  A Committal will take place at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ on Wednesday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m.  Family will be gathering at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. prior to leaving for the cemetery.
