LifeStory

Vincent J. Trimarchi

Vincent Joseph Trimarchi was born on August 13, 1933 in New York City to Sicilian parents, Antonio and Lucia Trimarchi. Vincent’s Sicilian heritage encompassed his life in many ways through his close-knit family, their traditions and their love of food. Vincent was the center of his family, adored by all. He was entertaining, kind, honest and humble. To briefly describe him, we would say: he was fun, witty and loved life. Vincent graduated from Fordham University in 1954 and right after graduation went to visit his Uncles in Marseille, France, where he met the love of his life, Maryse. They were married for 63 years. He worked for many years at Kenco Products in Englewood, NJ. He and his wife Maryse moved to Florida where they flourished as Business Brokers.  They retired in Chatham NJ. Vincent’s spirit will be a part of all of his family’s hearts. Husband of Maryse, father of Melinda Sotolongo, (Arron), Michelle Leffler (Michael), Monique and Anthony. Proud grandfather of Michael Secor, Christopher Sotolongo (Joy) and Nicole Leffler. Brother of his loving sisters, Maria Liscio (d. Frank), and predeceased by Agatha Alaimo and her husband Louis.  He was the fun Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Memorial visiting hours will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham on Saturday, July 20th from 10am to 1pm. There will be a prayer service at 12:30pm during the visitation. Interment is private. Dear Maryse, Melinda, Michelle, Monique and Anthony and family.
We were very sad to hear about Vinny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our friendship started 57 years ago in Paramus when Josephine met Vinny walking Monique and Anthony and she was walking Anthony and Joey. That's when it all started. We did things with our families together. Then when we moved to Florida and Vinny and Josephine became social directors for our card groups, gormet dinners at the beach, our trp to Sicily and our halloween parties. We will always remember the great times we had together.
Vinny will always be in our hearts. With all our love.
Josephine and Gene Monaco
