Outsized: I always experienced him as larger than life, like he was connected to something bigger
Out-of-the-box: He always surprised by his views on life, refused to be pigeon-holed, made surprising and insightful connections across domains and dimensions
Unafraid: of acting on what he believed to be right, in all things big and small. I remember him confronting a rowdy bully at a Springsteen concert and getting cheered by all around
Radiant: Seemed animated by an inner light
Funny: His smile and laughter was incredibly infectious; didn’t make fun of anyone but poked at absurdities, Carlinesque
