Lauren CarrabinoSilvia, The Carrabino Family misses you so very much. Your smile, your contagious personality and passion for life. No matter what was wrong, talking to you for five minutes could make any person forget about all of their problems. You are one of the few people with whom we could talk to for hours and never run out of things to say or talk about. Your energy and positive vibes you gave off made everyone drawn to you like a magnet and want to be around you.
You spoke about all things with such passion, and that spirit of yours changed us. Even though you are not here physically anymore, we still feel your presence. We still feel your spirit and energy. Our lives were better for having you in it, and although the pain of your loss is still there, we feel grateful for having known you.
You live on everyday in all of the good you did in this world, and all the people whose lives you touched, and the love you gave to all who had the fortune to know you and be a part of your life. You are still here, just in a different way. We all continue to go on, with all of the gifts of Silvia's beautiful personality living on in us and helping us all to be kinder, better, more loving people. Those gifts she left to all of us is eternal.
Silvia loved her husband and children so incredibly much. She was such an amazing mother and wife, and was an inspiration for me as a mother and wife.
Rick, Guilia, and Elzo, our hearts are with you all, may you continue to feel Silvia's love everyday.
Whenever I am blasting my music in the car, I think of Silvia and smile, and I feel her smiling back at me.
Joan GonzalesDear Rick, Elzo, and Guilia,
I am so so sorry for your loss. Your mother (and wife) had such a zest for life and the people around her. I will always remember her hugs and kisses on the cheek every single time I saw her....even after teaching Elzo and Guilia in kindergarten! Silvia was my connection to my father’s hometowns in Italy. She loved you all dearly, and made a very positive impact on my life. I will never forget Silvia and will continue to keep you all close in thought and prayer. I can not even look at “Nutella” without thinking of her😘. God bless you all! ✝️
Janeen ChavisI'll never forget the first time I met Silvia in person. For months, I had only communicated with her via telephone. Silvia had a very distinctive voice - deep, rich, and rhythmic due to her Italian accent. One day, I attended a town hall type meeting in a large auditorium. I heard THE VOICE, and at once I knew it belonged to Silvia. I was determined to introduce myself in person. I was in shock when I turned around and spotted her in person. She certainly didn't match the image I had created in my mind!
Silvia helped me get through a difficult first year in a new position, and I will forever be grateful. She always had great advice/wisdom, kind wishes, and a bear hug to give. She also had a great sense of humor. The warmth and energy she exuded was palpable. A beautiful spirit indeed.
I'm so sorry that Silvia is no longer with us. She was a blessing to all, and I know she loved her family. Sincere condolences, and I will keep your family in my prayers.
Sincerely, Janeen Chavis
