What are your best memories of time together?

Gordon Toon
Too many good memories to count. Praj and I were randomly assigned roommates at UNC together, and I couldn't have asked for a better matchup. He was so crucial to my positive experiences at UNC that I can't imagine where I would have ended up without his consistently upbeat friendship and brotherhood. We ended up deciding to live with each other for all 4 years of undergrad, and I was selfishly upset that I couldn't continue our journey together with him up into NYC after graduation. Praj was the anchor for the larger group of guys that roomed together those same 4 years, and we will ALL miss his companionship and the endless stories he generated (and was often at the center of).

My mom and his mom are really close friends. As a kid, I used to hang out at his house whenever I would visit my cousins in Reno. I lost touch probably around middle school, but I have vivid memories of playing video/computer games as well as playing in the snow in their backyard as a kid. Dude was always smiling and so full of life, it's crazy. After reading these comments and looking at the photos posted, it's obvious that Prajwal was a positive and fulfilling force in the lives of all the people he ended up encountering. He was only 2 years younger than me. May he find peace.

I would typically bump into Praj while running to or from the restroom at work and I always appreciated his warm and thoughtful charm. Miss you Prajwal!

Praj was so compassionate, understanding and helpful during some difficult times. His understanding and guidance helped get through some difficult times and situations. He was always such a positive force, always looking for the good things where many people may look for the negative. I will miss the conversations and laughs shared and am so sorry for the great loss his family must endure.

I had the pleasure of working with Praj in several different capacities over the past few years and will always remember him fondly. Praj was the embodiment of kindness. Regardless of what role he was in or what project he was working on, he consistently led with care and compassion for others. His work impacted so many of us at SPS, often without us even knowing. Praj was a really great person and will be missed deeply.

When I first came on board as program director of actuarial science program in Sep 2013. Prajwal, you had helped me grow and managed the program as you were one of my coordinators. You were always a yes person and together we, three of us built the program. You were more than a coordinator, you had been students-centric and students loved you (I want to let you know that you had been asked often by our alumni). You helped them before they were even enrolling to the program, revised their resumes so that they could be ready for the job searching; You made available to the students twice a week; You went to all our professional seminars that take place twice a week.
I also had you to give TA's trainings sometime. Organizing events were your specialty.
Prajwal, the program couldn't where we are today without you (and Elena)'s tremendous contributions on a day-to-day effort.
Those were some of our best memories of years together. Prajwal, you will be loved and missed!

During one of the last project meetings I attended with Prajwal, I was struck by how positive and enthusiastic he was about the work. Friendly and supportive of everyone on the call, he maintained an upbeat and encouraging attitude and enthusiastically contributed ideas to make the initiative better while embracing a service-oriented mindset. He was a critical thread in the unique tapestry that is SPS and will be dearly missed.

Prajwal and I worked together in the Actuarial Science program for several years. He was one of the first people I met when I joined SPS. I will always remember his kindness and his willingness to take one for the team. He will be sorely missed.

Prajwal was thoughtful, kind, and patient. I worked with him, one-on-one and in group settings, on more than one project during 2016-2019 or so. He embraced a reassuring approach--with care and understanding. Thank you Prajwal, from Tatum Thomas
