What's the most significant lesson dad taught you?
When I was in highschool, my dad gave me a manilla folder with his hand written words "John's million dollar fund" on the front. He had created an Individual Retirement Account in my name and explained that if I contributed to it until I retire and never withdraw funds from it, I'd have a great nest egg when I retire. I'm now 43 years old and his advice has paid off handsomely and my retirement fund continues to grow. I plan on doing the same with my own kids. Thanks Dad!
