What's the most significant lesson dad taught you?
My Dad told me that, no matter what the job is, always do it well. Even if you are a ditch digger, make sure that ditch is perfectly even with perfect corners and at the perfect depth. That advice has served me well by making me realized that there is no job that is beneath me and doing it well will only benefit me. It removed all judgement about people who do under appreciated work.
