I had great memories as a child there. They offered a variety of entertainment. I stayed in the sleeping bungalow at nite with the other kids. They had teenager counselors to watch us. There was archery on the hill it was fun to run around throughout the place and pool. I learned how to swim there. There was always something to do. The best time was when they would the ring the bell and everyone there would head down to the eating quarters and would eat together .I can still recall how noisy sounded flocking to table to get a seat and finding out what was on the menu. I remember a happy atmosphere. Martha ang Jack were wonderful people .kind and so friendly . Solway house retreat left me with very warm and fun memories.
